Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to take a vague problem statement, refine the scope of the analysis, and use the results to drive informed decisions. Summarize and clearly communicate data analysis results.
- Drive data analysis needs for the VX org that supports weekly/monthly business rhythm. Additionally establish regular communication of insights and impact.
- Proficient in data-driven storytelling via reports & visualizations: ability to frame complex analyses and tell succinct, impactful stories to VX leadership team.
- Develop and refine OKR targets to align with business objectives and track performance.
- Forecast future trends and outcomes based on historical data analysis and current market dynamics.
- Perform rigorous data validation and testing to ensure the accuracy and integrity of analysis.
- Leverage deep expertise with SQL, KUSTO and other relevant tools & technologies to perform rapid ad-hoc insights requests.
- Experience using statistical programming languages (Python, SQL) for data access, wrangling, and statistical modeling preferred.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate passion and skills aligned with business insights and data analysis.
Eligibiilty Criteria:
- Proven experience with the Microsoft data stack, including expert-level knowledge of SQL and proficiency in Kusto (Azure Data Explorer).
- Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms and data models.
- Ability to manage numerous competing priorities in a flexible and fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to a non-technical audience.
- Analytical aptitude while able to maintain a broader perspective, identifies and evaluates opportunities to enhance the business.
