Key Responsibilities – Python Developer
- Design, develop, document, and test data pipelines with Python that ingest and store data from structured and unstructured sources in Azure using cloud services like Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory.
- Collaborate with data architects to ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of data solutions.
- Strong SQL programming skills and experience with T-SQL and PySpark
- Monitor Azure Synapse workloads and proactively address issues related to data processing, storage, and performance optimization in both T-SQL and Spark Jobs
- Familiarity with other Azure data services (IaaS and PaaS)
- Gain experience in YAML-based CI/CD in Azure DevOps

- Advanced Python coding knowledge (min. 2+ yrs)
- Proficient in Python programming language, familiarity with Python libraries such as PySpark for data manipulation and analysis
- Understanding of relational databases and experience with MS SQL / Azure SQL
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps repos, artifacts and pipelines, 2+ years developing data pipelines
- Azure Synapse knowledge (Azure Data factory is also acceptable)
- Databricks or Synapse notebooks knowledge (basic to advanced)
- Source control knowledge
